Creating Positive Change Through Our Communities
At Hydroflux, supporting the communities in which we operate is an important part of how we create positive social impact. Through our Community Give Back Program, we support causes that matter to our people and their families, alongside partnerships with organisations working in areas closely connected to our purpose, expertise and values.
Where possible, we focus our community investment on areas where we believe we can make a meaningful contribution, including improving access to water, sanitation and hygiene in the Pacific, and supporting women in STEM across Australia and New Zealand. We also contribute to a broader range of community causes that are important to our people.
Love Mercy exists to empower communities in Northern Uganda to overcome poverty caused by the horrors of war. Love Mercy began in 2010 in Sydney, Australia after Eloise Wellings, Australian Olympian, met Ugandan Olympian and former child soldier, Julius Achon.
Supporting Cancer Council’s Relay for Life event to raise vital funds for people impacted by cancer.
In Australia, around 134,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year. The Cancer Council Relay for Life raises vital funds for cancer research, support services, and prevention programs. It also brings communities together to honour cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against cancer.
