International Women’s Day 2021
March 8, 2021
Marked annually on March 8th, International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women’s achievements or rally for women’s equality.
Evidence shows that more diverse and inclusive groups have higher performance both on safety and operational performance and that more women on Boards and in senior leadership roles result in improved company performance, profitability and productivity. For Hydroflux, as we continue the drive too more sustainable use of the worlds resources this inclusion becomes ever more essential. We urge women to consider a career in science, engineering or technology.
Hydroflux is firmly committed to increasing the diversity of our workforce and include the United Nations SDG No. 5 – Gender Equality in the development of our sustainability framework.
#ChooseToChallenge Choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. Choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.
